Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
- 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced into thin strips
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Sour cream, salsa, and guacamole for serving
Instructions:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat
Add minced garlic and saut for 30 seconds until fragrant
Add chicken and beef strips to the skillet and cook until they are no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes
Add sliced bell peppers and onions to the skillet and saut until they are tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes
Sprinkle chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper over the mixture
Stir well to coat everything evenly and cook for an additional 2 minutes
Warm the flour tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave for about 30 seconds
To assemble the fajitas, spoon the chicken and beef mixture onto each tortilla
Top with shredded cheddar cheese
Serve hot with sour cream, salsa, and guacamole on the side
