Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- Lettuce leaves optional
- Tomato slices optional
- Onion slices optional
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper
Mix until well combined
Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties
Preheat your grill or stovetop pan to medium-high heat
Grill or cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness
During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of Swiss cheese to each patty and allow it to melt
While the burgers are cooking, saut the sliced mushrooms in a separate pan until they are tender and lightly browned
Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until they are lightly golden
To assemble the burgers, spread a generous amount of ranch dressing on the bottom half of each toasted bun
Place a lettuce leaf on top of the ranch dressing if desired, followed by a burger patty with melted Swiss cheese
Top the burger with sauted mushrooms and any optional toppings such as tomato slices and onion slices
Finish by placing the top half of the toasted bun on top of the toppings
Serve the Worcestershire Burgers with Swiss, Mushrooms and Ranch Dressing hot, and enjoy
